coe-staff: 2017 College of Education Alumni Awards

Hello,
We are seeking nominations for the 2017 College of Education Alumni Awards.  The College of Education Alumni Outreach Committee honors individuals who have made a positive impact on the fields of education and human services through their work or advocacy. The committee encourages nominations from alumni, faculty, staff, and practitioners in the field. The nomination process only takes a few minutes.  Candidates may be nominated using an online or paper form.

One of the categories you may nominate people in is our Community Impact Award.  This award recognizes someone who devotes their time, talents and expertise to improve the quality of life and/or the educational climate in their local community.  Past recipients have included Fairfield principal Jenny Sink, therapist Renee Villanueva, early childhood education specialist Florien Deurloo and interventionist Arwen Maas-DeSpan.  Often these nominees are unsung heroes doing good work in our community.  The nomination process includes a simple form you fill out and a letter of support from one other person.  Take the time today to nominate someone for this or one of our other awards:

The Outstanding Alumni Award
The National Public Service Award
The Distinguished Alumni Award
The Horizon Alumni Award
