coe-staff: SPSS/AMOS Renewal Steps for UO Computers (2017)

The UO license renewal for IBM SPSS/AMOS happens at the end of every calendar year. So those of you wishing to use SPSS  or AMOS right away this year maybe faced with a message from your SPSS or AMOS software that the license authorization code needs to be updated.


COEIT has an update process for UO purchased computers running Windows. It uses UO's Windows software center and was put together to streamline the license renewal process for both SPSS and AMOS (versions 19-22). Thus, if you have a windows computer purchased with UO funds, and your computer is connected to the UO campus network, you can follow the steps on the COE Help site<http://coehelp.uoregon.edu/renewing-the-spss-license-code-2-0/> to update the License Authorization codes. This will license the software until December 31, 2017.
