Educational Methodology, Policy and Leadership (EMPL) is pleased to announce the following colloquium:


Dr. Nettie Legters of Education Northwest present, "Something for Everyone: Mixed-methods research on supporting ninth graders' transition into high school"



When:  Tuesday, Nov 15th

Presentation: 11:30am - 1:00pm

Location:  HEDCO 230T

Lunch will be provided beginning at 11:15am

Short Bio: Dr. Nettie Legters leads and supports research and technical assistance projects focused on school improvement, dropout prevention, and college readiness and access. For nearly two decades, she has pursued her passion for improving high schools and secondary education systems. Prior to joining Education Northwest, Nettie served as a lead developer and evaluator of middle and high school reform initiatives in her role as co-director of the Everyone Graduates Center at Johns Hopkins University where she earned her Ph.D. in Sociology.
