coe-staff: ASUO Women's Center Toiletry Drive October 17 – November 11

Dear students, staff, faculty and community members of the University of Oregon:

The 2016 Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) Toiletry Drive is under way! The ASUO Women’s Center is sponsoring this event to support Women’s Space and Family First Shelter in their work with survivors of domestic violence. Purple bins will be placed in various areas around campus to collect the toiletries and personal products that will help domestic violence survivors as they transition to new lives.  COE bins are located outside the lobby of Lokey Suite 124 and near the Learning Commons in the HEDCO Lobby.



Dates: Toiletry Drive will be held October 17 – November 11

Items:  Accepting all types of toiletries, full size if possible; suggestion list is below

              •   All donations support Women’s Space and Family First Shelter

              •   Bins are located all over campus, see placement list below

              •   Donations of gently used children’s toys and clothes will also be accepted this year and those donation can be made in the Women’s Center, EMU, Room 12

              •   Please share amongst your networks and friend circles
