coe-staff: New director of development - Deidre Sandvick

Please see the announcement below regarding the appointment of Deidre Sandvick as our new Senior Director of Development. I am grateful to your colleagues, both faculty and staff, who participated in her on campus interview a few weeks ago.

I very much look forward to partnering with Deidre, and our entire development staff, as we work together to support our missions. I know that you will also enjoy working with her. Please join me in welcoming Deidre to our community.

Dean Randy Kamphaus and I are pleased to announce that Deidre Sandvick has accepted our offer to become Senior Director of Development for the College of Education. We all know Deidre as a wonderful colleague and strong development officer. She has been at the UO for nearly nine years, beginning her career at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art and most recently as our Regional DOD for the Pacific Northwest. She began her development career as an undergraduate student caller at UC Santa Cruz and also worked with the San Diego Opera and San Diego City Ballet development programs. She will start at COE on Wednesday May 11.<x-apple-data-detectors://2> Please join us in congratulating Deidre on her promotion and new assignment.
