coe-staff: Senate Meeting notes 10/21

Hi Colleagues - I have one more term of participation on the UO Senate and here are my notes from last week's meeting. They're fairly short as several motions were postponed and I summarized a lengthy discussion on whether the senate should pass a resolution pertaining to campus violence as succinctly as I could. I was not able to attend the Senate meeting of Oct 7, but the minutes are now posted here: http://senate.uoregon.edu/content/minutes-uo-senate-meeting-october-7-2015  President Schill addressed this first meeting of the 2015-16 Senate and the Senate heard the report from the Committee on Sexual and Gender-based Violence.
