coe-staff: Special invitation to target of opportunity colloquium

Please join us on Monday October 12th for a colloquium by Dr. Ezekiel Dixon-Roman.  Dr. Dixon-Roman is a psychometrician and social theorist who specializes in the application of quantitative methods of inquiry to issues of race, class, and culture in educational settings.  He is gaining notoriety for being a scholar whose work defies traditional categorizations such as qualitative/quantitative and descriptive/critical.   He is one of the scholars the COE is bringing out as a part of the Dean's target of opportunity initiative.  He will be delivering a talk entitled "On the structural relations of test scores" at 10:00 am in Lokey 119 on the 12th.
