coe-staff: Strategic Planning Efforts (On Behalf of Dean Kamphaus)

Dear Faculty Staff and Students,


Thank you for your engagement in our planning efforts. The list of ideas being compiled by Shaun Haskins is long and full of great proposals; our students are engaged in a substantive way with a large cadre of student volunteers willing to serve on these committees, many of whom have never  before engaged in service to the college. I am overwhelmed by everyone's engagement. Clearly, all are committed to the success of this institution, which portends even greater success going forward.

We now have two new planning committees formed,  which has been described below. As before, please feel free to adjust committee membership, research questions, and other plans as the members see fit. We are still in the idea generating stage of  the planning process, and I do not want to do anything to interfere with that already generative process.

I will see some of you at our planning luncheon today.
