REFRESHMENTS

Myriam uses her personal story of psychosis, hospitalization and recovery to
introduce a deeper and more holistic understanding of experiences diagnosed
as psychiatric disorders (including bipolar

states, mania, psychosis, schizophrenia and depression). With more

than 10 years of experience exploring meaning in mysterious, wild, unusual
and disturbing states (often labeled as mental illness), Myriam's work is a
doorway to healing and recovery.

Myriam's keynote will create an inclusive space to explore stereotypes,
stigma, labels, systemic and social issues, medication, trauma, spirituality
and the role of love, openness and compassion.
