All-

Please find attached the summer edition of the Campus Ops newsletter. Please note the following reminders as we transition into Fall season:

Reminders:

Our Central Power Station slowly begins to turn on the steam to buildings in October once the evening temperatures begin to drop.

This is the time of the year our weather and temperatures fluctuate; thus the interior temperatures may also fluctuate.

Many buildings are now on the building automation system which controls the HVAC-and those buildings should see less temperature

fluctuations but may need some fine tuning as fall weather arrives.

Be mindful of plugging in small appliance such as toasters, microwaves, coffee pots, cup warmers in office space. Often the electrical circuits are not equipped to handle the extra equipment. Over extended circuits can trip and become safety hazards.

Break room areas usually are equipped electrically to handle these small appliances.

Hello

Welcome to fall term and fall weather!

Enclosed is the Campus Operations Building Manager Newsletter.

Enjoy and please share with your department and staff.

I inadvertently listed the Flock Party, formerly Intermingle taking place on the 25th when it's actually Friday, Sept 26th.
