coe-staff: New Assistant Dean

Dear COE Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that Dr. Brigid Flannery will be joining the Dean's office as the Interim Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs for the 2014/15 year. Dr. Flannery is a long time faculty member who has previously served in a number of key leadership roles in the college including Director of the Special Education Major and Interim Department Head for Special Education and Clinical Sciences.  Among her many relevant experiences, she also has extensive knowledge of and experience with College of Education curriculum review procedures as well as NTTF promotion policies.

Dr. Flannery will work closely with Associate Dean Lauren Lindstrom, and take primary responsibility for the following tasks:

1.  Lead the update of COE NTTF promotion policies and procedures to bring them in line with new CBA.
2. Chair the COE curriculum committee and provide leadership on all curriculum related topics.

3. Manage the College wide doctoral level EDUC courses.



I am most grateful that Dr. Flannery is willing to assist us as we also complete a number of ad hoc tasks.
