coe-staff: COE student in need

Greetings,

The Educational Foundations program currently has a student who was diagnosed with colon cancer over the summer. He is a Veteran and has 2 children starting school this week in the 4-J district. The family has had to spend all of their available funds on transportation and medical expenses over the summer (he had major surgery and follow-up treatments are still continuing) and they could really use a helping hand with some basic back to school shopping. If you are in a position to help, even a little bit, you can bring your donations  (cash, gift cards, even your change) to Keri Baker in Education Studies. If you would like more information or would prefer a specific list of items to purchase, please  email me and I will try to get those details ASAP.
