Dear COE Community,

I am both honored and humbled to have the opportunity to join your ranks next Tuesday. I look forward to working with all of you and our new leaders; Interim President Scott Coltrane and Acting Senior Vice President and Provost Frances Bronet.

Interim Dean Mia Tuan has done an exemplary job of keeping me informed about all aspects of the COE. I greatly appreciate her assistance with my transition, and her skilled leadership of the COE. Shaun Haskins has been helpful with all matters including arranging upcoming meetings with many of you. I am grateful to all of you for having worked so hard to ensure that our progress has proceeded uninterrupted.
