Translators Needed For Head Start of Lane County

 

About Us

 

Head Start of Lane County is a birth to five, low income early education
program with comprehensive services in the family's home language. Our
mission is ensuring that our youngest children have a solid foundation in
life.

 

Languages needed

*         Arabic

 

Position Purpose

*         Translate written materials.

*         Interpret for families in our program.

*         Calls  parents to share information.

*         Assist with communication in classroom setting, at parent meetings
or on visits with families.

 

Requirements

*         Attend a brief orientation if working in the classroom setting.

*         Enrollment in Child Care Division, Criminal History Registry if
working in the classroom setting.

*         Fluency in home language of family.

*         1099 form if being paid for translation services.

*         Current  negative Tuberculosis test.

 

Days & Hours

*         Varies from 1 to 2 hours.

*         Monday thru Friday, day & evening hours needed.

*         Based on your schedule & availability.
