July 9, 2012

On Thursday, July 12th the required annual testing of fire and life safety-related equipment will be performed by Environmental Health and Safety personnel and outside contractors in the following buildings as listed below. Testing is scheduled for the following times:

Thursday July 12th - HEDCO/Lokey Education - 6:00AM
Horns, Strobes and Speakers on the fire alarm system will not sound after 8:00AM, but there may be activity such as door holders closing and smoke detector testing that will occur throughout the morning. Provisions have been taken to monitor the building fire systems during this time and alarms that occur after 8:30AM should be considered real events and occupants should evacuate as usual per the U of O Emergency Procedures.
