Subject: Promotion Policies vote result and next steps

The following message is shared on behalf of Dr. Lisa Mazzei, Associate Dean for Faculty Development:

Dear COE faculty,

Thank you for voting on the College of Education's Promotion and Review policies. Based on the results of the vote, both policies (attached), have been submitted to the Office of the Provost for transition to the next stages of review. We expect they will be returned for Dean review within the week.

The results of the votes were:


  *   TTF Policy:         19 votes total. 19 yes / 0 No (only TTF)
  *   CF Policy:        28 votes total.  25 yes / 3 No

We also received some additional comments during this vote and will submit those to the dean for consideration at the final review or, as appropriate, integrate into the implementation guide to be developed following final approval by OtP.

We look forward to providing you with updates as we move into the final stages of the policy development process.
