coe-fac: Reminders, updates, and resources.

Good morning all,

As we begin week 2, I want to share two reminders, an update, and a resource.
Reminders:

  1.  Make sure there is a syllabus posted on Canvas for every class.
  2.  Be mindful of the end time for your class. The ten or fifteen minute break between classes is meant to give you time to gather your materials and the other person time to set up.

Resources
As many of you noticed there are new recommendations regarding the use of generative AI. Many of you may be discussing the use of generative AI in the classroom this year. Below is a link for a  discussion on the use of generative AI. It includes issues and ideas on how to discuss the use of AI in the classroom. It’s long but worth a listen.
