Faculty Fund Award Application
Proposal for Project Grant

The College of Education's Faculty Fund Awards provides financial support for the innovative ideas that contribute to the early career development of our faculty members. Funding is meant to catalyze projects and help faculty members achieve sustainability.
Eligibility: All College of Education TTF and C-NTTF faculty (FTE of .5 or greater) are eligible to apply for awards. The Kruger Award is only available for three career development units (IntoCareers, CIS, and DESTNY). The Fairway Award is available for SPECS faculty only. The Skippen Award is available for EMPL faculty only. All COE departmental faculty are eligible for the Andrea Wiggins Fund for Faculty Outreach and the Judson and Elise Taylor Fund.
Applications will be based on meritorious factors that include:

  *   Projects that are not yet funded or have no other funding sources available
  *   Projects in a current area of priority or importance for the college
  *   High visibility projects
  *   Applicants that have not received a faculty fund award in the past three years
Application Steps:
1.     Complete and submit a proposal application by March 12, 2021. https://coe.uoregon.edu/facultyfundawards/faculty-fund-awards/

  *   The Associate Dean of Research at the College of Education will notify applicants being considered by March 19, 2021.
  *   Preliminary proposal applicants chosen will submit fuller proposals that:
     *   Develop the design and implementation plans
     *   Propose a plan to evaluate the initiative
     *   Propose a detailed budget. Please get input from your business manager as you develop a budget to ensure that all proposed costs are reasonable and allowable.
  *   Final applications will be due April 2, 2021. Applications will be reviewed and award decisions made by the deans of the College of Education. The COE Office of Development will review applications for alignment with the fund's intention.
  *   Project funding will be announced by April 9, 2021.
  *   Lead faculty in any funded project will give an annual written update to the donor. The awardees will also provide the COE Office of Development with the necessary narrative and fiscal information to submit an annual report to the donor on the use and impact of funds.
