coe-fac: COE Local Metrics Submission update

Dear Faculty,

The Provost's office has provided feedback on the COE local metrics that were submitted to OtP last Spring. The OtP reviewed our submission and offered COE leadership (Dean and Department Heads) an opportunity to respond to feedback and provide additional updates to the metrics in early Fall.

Those updates are now reflected in the attached document "Special Education and Clinical Sciences Data Definitions" (Please note: In spite of the file name, the content of these document are the same for each department). The OtP is now requesting department-specific faculty input on the updated local metrics.

Dear Faculty,

The updated local metrics file that is being submitted to the Provost's office is attached. Thank you for your input in various meetings and via survey.

Thanks to that input, and to advice based on robust discussions with the FAC and Department Heads, we have spelled out acronyms, clarified some of the wording, and included the following newly suggested metrics from the faculty survey:

1)      Refereed technical papers(under publications)

2)      State contracts and grants (under grants)

3)      Manuscript reviews (under other)

We will keep you apprised of any updates or feedback we receive from the Provost's office on our submission.
