The following message is from the Associate Dean for Research and Faculty Development, Dr. Edward J. Kame’enui, and Dr. Elizabeth Skowron, Professor, Department of Counseling Psychology and Human Services (CPHS):

Dear Colleagues:

Please join us for an NIH Mock Grant Review Workshop hosted by the UO College of Education on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, 3:30 to 5:00 pm in the Gerlinger Lounge. Light refreshments will be served.

The purpose of the workshop is to provide faculty with an introduction to the NIH submission and review process, learn about the NIH R-mechanisms (e.g., R01, R21, R03), and observe a “Mock Panel” comprised of experienced NIH reviewers, discuss, review, and score an NIH grant proposal.  Following the mock review, the panelists will invite audience questions and discussion.  The NIH grant proposal to be reviewed will be sent in advance to attendees who register for the workshop.
