Please find attached an announcement for the 2018 NIDA Diversity Scholars Network (NDSN): A Mentoring and Grantsmanship Professional Development Program. The NDSN is a competitive, rigorous, and comprehensive program aimed at enhancing the funding success of outstanding underrepresented early-stage investigators conducting drug abuse research.

The NDSN program consists of two sessions and an interim proposal development period that will support a cohort of scholars in applying for a NIH research grant or equivalent funding in order to build a sustainable independent research career.
APPLICATION DEADLINE:  January 12, 2018

The attached announcement contains additional program details, eligibility, workshop locations, and application information.

Please share this announcement broadly with investigators conducting substance abuse research.
