coe-fac: COE Curriculum Committee 2016-2017 - NEED members from EDST and EMPL

Faculty,

There are two positions open on the COE Curriculum Committee starting in 2016-2017: EMPL (Tenure track faculty member) and EDST (Tenure track faculty member).  According to the Internal Governance Policy:

*         Nominated individuals will be placed on a ballot for a college-wide vote and serve for a three-year term.

*         If a department has no self- nominations, a department head may appoint qualified faculty to be listed on the ballot.

Due to the volume of courses an new programs the committee has been meeting 2-3 times per term and then contribute time outside of meetings for review of materials and gathering input from department faculty.

If  you are interested in serving on this committee and from EMPL or EDST please send your nomination to Brigid (brigidf at uoregon.edu<mailto:brigidf at uoregon.edu>) by May 1st.
