Dr. Davis' NIH funded research has focused in two main areas, pediatric obesity treatment in school based programs and pediatric feeding disorders. She is currently a full, tenured professor, Vice Chair for Research, Director of the Center for Children's Healthy Lifestyles & Nutrition, a joint center between KUMC and Children's Mercy Hospital.
