coe-fac: Thanks and Congratulations (from Dean Kamphaus)

Dear Faculty,

I congratulate all of you on your many accomplishments that will be highlighted at the AERA meeting in Chicago this week. I am impressed by both the breadth and depth of our participation in this high profile meeting.

I also wish to thank Lisa Fortin, Cody Pinkston, and Lillian Winkler-Rios for their extraordinary work to create our first College-wide reception on Saturday night at the University Club, our agenda of U of O awards and presentations distributed yesterday, and all ancillary support activities. These individuals and others are allowing us to respond forcefully to the request of our many alumni for engagement with them at AERA.

The U of O has been well represented at many meetings, including the recent meeting of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) where Kent McIntosh received an early career research award.
