coe-fac: Candidates for Dean of UO Graduate School

COE Faculty,

As a college with a large number of graduate programs,  the Graduate School and its work is important to our future and the future of our students. For the first time in a while there will be a Dean of the UO Graduate School.

I know it is a busy time of year and you may not have had time to go to the presentations by the three internal candidates. There is still an opportunity to have input into the selection of the Dean of the Graduate School. I encourage you to read the materials, view their presentations, and provide comments to the surveys  - due 5pm on Tuesday January 27. See the message below.

We have been very fortunate to have outstanding finalists for the Dean of the Graduate School visit with campus groups during the past week.

If you met with them or attended their presentations, please take a few minutes and complete the feedback survey for the candidates.  This mechanism provides feedback to the Provost.  You will find the surveys listed for each candidate at: http://provost.uoregon.edu/content/dean-graduate-school-finalists  The feedback surveys will be open until 5:00 pm, Tuesday, January 27.

If you missed the presentations or want to view them again, the links to each candidate’s presentation are active and found on the site listed above.   They will also be available until 5:00 pm on January 27.
