Dear faculty:
I apologize for an error in my earlier email. January 27 is Tuesday, not Thursday, and is the correct date for the qualtrics feedback deadline.

Dear COE Faculty:
Attached please find the policy on assignment of professional responsibilities for non-tenure track faculty in the COE (“NTTF workload”) as crafted by the volunteer policy workgroup and amended with feedback from the dean. It comprises three elements: an executive summary of the policy, a policy document, and an FTE calculator spreadsheet.
Your review and input on all three documents is requested to ensure that the policy they outline meets with your approval and can be forwarded to the dean for final review and submission to academic affairs on behalf of the college. The workgroup has established a Qualtrics survey for collecting your input at the following location:
https://oregon.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_51GMNoRB46dBwm9
Please provide your feedback before 5pm on Thursday, January 27.
Additionally, the members of the workload work group can address any questions or concerns you have directly. The members of the work group are:
-Susan Boettcher, Communication Disorders and Sciences
-Tiffany Brown, Couples and Family Therapy
-Johanna Larson, Communication Disorders and Sciences
-Christopher Murray, SPED
-Deborah Olson, SPED
-Alison Schmitke, UOTeach
-Mark Van Ryzin, EMPL
The work group is hosting an open general discussion of the policy on Friday, January 23 at 9am in Hedco 230T, and a luncheon will be hosted by the dean in early February (stay tuned for details) to discuss any final amendments he is making to the policy before submission to academic affairs.
Thank you for your attention to this important policy development process, and please join me in thanking the work group for the tremendous effort they have put forth to generate this policy.
Regards,
Shaun Haskins
