coe-fac: VOTE REQUIRED - COE Merit Distribution Policy

Dear COE Colleagues:
The time has come to present the college-wide faculty merit policy for review and ratification. As with the college's internal governance document, the merit policy document is intended to always be a work in progress and subject to revision on an as-needed basis.
According to the CBA implementation timeline provided by Academic Affairs, we are now at the stage in the process where I present the policy resulting from the input and feedback received from the faculty over the past several weeks. The document attached is a college-level policy for faculty merit distribution to guarantee consistency and equity across units as much as possible through the merit review process, while recognizing that faculty profiles vary considerably within and across units.
The document is now ready for a five day period of college-wide faculty review and voting before submission to the Provost for approval. You may find the policy document and the Faculty Review Form which will be a tool for supervisors to guide performance review going forward attached, and you can submit your vote at the following LINK<https://oregon.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_eSdXFqOEjFhnTmd>. A simple majority of those who vote will be sufficient to ratify the document.
Please note that the deadline for review and voting is 5pm, Wednesday May 14.
