Exciting news for the Purchasing Portal! Purchasing and Contracting Services is now utilizing Adobe Sign, a cloud-based e-signature service that allows sending, signing, tracking, and management of the signature processes on some agreements. What does this mean for your department?

*         Getting the executed agreement back will be easier than ever! After the required signatures have been received, Adobe Sign will automatically route the agreement to each party.

*         Adobe Sign makes it easier for parties to sign anytime, anywhere.

Important things to keep in mind:

*         The department contact, as entered in the portal by the department during intake, may receive a notice to "approve" the agreement prior to it being forwarded to the vendor. The department contact should review the contract to make sure it meets their needs before clicking approve. Once approved, the documents will be sent to the vendor for review and signature. If necessary, you will be able to reassign the agreement to the appropriate department approver for their review.

o    Please Note: This is NOT signature authority.

*         The Vendor contact, as entered in the portal by the department during intake, will receive the agreement to review and sign. In order to achieve timely routing of the agreement, be sure to enter a valid email address for the vendor contact.  If necessary, the vendor will be able to reassign the agreement to the appropriate signer.

*         The Adobe Sign process may not be used for all agreements.
