Announcement of New Cost Accounting, Financial Analysis and Reporting Manager

Good afternoon,

After a thorough and competitive search process, we are pleased to announce that Bruce Abrahamson has accepted the new Cost Accounting, Financial Analysis and Reporting (CAFAR) Manager position on the Financial Services team within the Business Affairs Office.  This is a new position recently created to manage, coordinate, and assist in the preparation of all University of Oregon (UO) internal and external financial reporting, including collaboration with the Office for Research, Innovation and Graduate Education on the Facilities and Administrative (F&A) Study and Proposal process.

Bruce received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the UO and has worked for the UO for over eleven years (most of those in the Business Affairs Office).  Bruce also earned his Oregon Certified Public Accountant license.  Bruce will transition into his new position immediately.  Please join us in welcoming Bruce into his new role!
