The UO Travel Office hosts a monthly Concur Roundtable for Concur travel delegates on the last Wednesday of each month. It’s an opportunity to meet your peers and share best practices, stay informed about changes and updates, and provide feedback related to Concur and travel.

Date: Wednesday, April 29, 2020 **  Time: 11:00 AM to Noon

Topic: Fiscal Year End Preparation  **  Presenter: Phil Davis, UO Control Accountant
Phil will be discussing the purpose and mechanics of the accrual accounting process as it applies to travel expense reports. Phil will go over:


  *   How expense reports are included in the accrual
  *   How index, account codes, and activity codes are applied
  *   What the transactions will look like in Banner in the current fiscal year and new fiscal year
  *   How trips that cross fiscal years are accrued
  *   The timeline
  *   A list of “To Do” tasks departments can do to prepare for a successful year end.

This is our bi-monthly training for new Travel Delegates, delegates wanting a refresher, or delegates in the Processor training queue*.  If you are booking and processing travel reimbursements for UO business travel, please attend this important training to learn UO Travel Policy, IRS Accountable Plan guidelines and for an overview of the Concur Travel and Expense system.
