Good Morning UO business travelers and their delegates:

United Baggage Fees:  Please be advised of the recent change in the United Airlines baggage fee charges as the first checked bag will be $35 each way, the second, $45. The increase takes effect for travel beginning March 6. Travelers who bought their tickets before Friday, Feb. 21 will be exempt and continue to pay $30 and $40 respectively.  Watch for other airlines to follow suit.

*NEW* American Airline Discounts:  The UO has just signed a discount contract with American Airlines.    UO business travelers receive 2-18% fare discounts for tickets purchased within the UO Managed Travel Program (booked and ticketed through the Booking Tool or with our TMCs - Travel Management Companies (travel agencies).  American joins United, Alaska and Delta as our University of Oregon preferred airline partners.

Concur Onboarding checklist:  Please see the New Traveler Concur Onboarding checklist located on the UO travel website on the Concur Resources button.  If you have new employees or employees who are new travelers, their Concur profile must be set up to book travel and receive travel expense reimbursement.
