Good Morning UO Campus Travel folks – Please share this with all your travelers:



The UO will be holding a TSA PreCheck enrollment event at the EMU, Lightning Room, Wednesday – Friday, November 1-3, 2017.  Appointment times are 8:00am – 12:00pm and 1:00pm – 5:00pm.



To participate in this local enrollment event, please pre-enroll ahead of time by simply clicking here<http://identogo.com/tsa-precheck>. The location code is  SP-UORB.



Choose “Start Application Now”, then “Apply Now”.

Fill out steps 1 through 4, Step 4 of 4, type in your special location code: SP-UORB

Click the [cid:image002.png at 01D348B5.F9C034C0]  icon.

Choose your Location “1395 University St”

Click Next at the bottom of the screen

Final Step – Select Date and Time: select your appointment time (the first available shows, you can use the drop down by clicking “next” to choose a different date and/or time.)

** Please be sure to make note of your appointment time, no reminders will be sent out.


IMPORTANT! To complete the application process, you will need to bring documentation proving identity and citizenship status. If you have a valid U.S. passport, that is all you need for ID! You will finish the process onsite by providing your fingerprints for a background check.





Cost of TSA PreCheck enrollment is $85 and is payable at the time of the screening by personal credit or debit card, money order or certified/cashier’s check only.   TSA Precheck is good for five years. Your appointment will involve a brief interview and background check (approximately 5 minutes).   Registrants typically receive their TSA PreCheck approval in 1-30 days.




TSA Pre✓® is an expedited screening program that enables identified low-risk air travelers to enjoy a smart and efficient screening experience. For TSA Pre✓® travelers, there is no need to remove shoes, 3-1-1 liquids, laptops, light outerwear or belts. Today, TSA Pre✓® has more than 450 lanes at 200+ U.S. airports.


The TSA Pre✓® application program allows U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents to directly apply for TSA Pre✓®. Once approved, travelers will receive a “Known Traveler Number” (which needs to be added to a travelers airline profile and reservations) and will have the opportunity to utilize TSA Pre✓® lanes at select security checkpoints when flying on the 37 carriers that currently participate in TSA Pre✓® including: Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, Allegiant, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue Airways, OneJet, Southwest Airlines, Sun Country Airlines, United Airlines, Virgin America, Seaborne, WestJet, Aeromexico, Lufthansa, Cape Air, Ethihad Airways, Spirit and Frontier



The TSA PreCheck event is open to the public - UO business travelers, business travelers from other companies, students, family members, etc.
