Good Morning UO Campus Travel folks -



Please share this with all your travelers:



The UO will be holding a TSA PreCheck enrollment event at the UO the week of October 30 - November 3.  Registration details coming soon!



TSA (Transportation Security Administration) PreCheck lets eligible, low-risk travelers enjoy expedited security screening at participating US airports and for most international itineraries.  Travelers registered for PreCheck breeze through security without removing:

*         Shoes

*         Liquids and gels from your carry-on

*         Laptop from your bag

*         Light outerwear/jacket

*         Belts



To register for TSA PreCheck you are required to have an in-person interview (closest interview locations are Portland, Roseburg and Medford).  This event brings TSA PreCheck enrollment directly to the UO campus and to the traveler.



TSA PreCheck appointments will be conducted 8:00am to 5:00 pm daily:



*         Monday, October 30 at UO Athletics - Sparks Conference Rm, Casanova Center

*         Tuesday, October 31 at UO Athletics - Sparks Conference Rm, Casanova Center

*         Wednesday, November 1 - EMU, Lightening Room

*         Thursday, November 2 - EMU, Lightening Room

*         Friday, November 3 - EMU, Lightening Room



Cost of TSA PreCheck enrollment is $85 (payable by personal credit card or debit card) and is good for five years. Your appointment will involve a brief interview and background check (approximately 5 minutes).   To enroll, travelers must bring a government issued ID (i.e. driver's license) and proof of citizenship (birth certification, passport, green card) .  Registrants typically receive their TSA PreCheck approval in 1-30 days.



The TSA PreCheck event is open to the public - UO business travelers, business travelers from other companies, students, family members, etc.
