[BAO news for travel administrators]

Good Afternoon Travel Coordinators:

Business Mileage Reimbursement:  The IRS has announced the 2017 personal vehicle mileage reimbursement rate at 53.5 cents per mile.

Moving/Relocation mileage reimbursement:  Mileage reimbursement for moving in 2017 is 53.5 cents per mile, broken down as follows:


*          The first 17 cents per mile is considered nontaxable and coded 10790.

*          The remaining 36.5 cents per mile is tax reportable and coded 10780.
