The travel office makes use of a some great travel webpages that we thought you also might find useful.

Airfare searches - ticket sellers good for comparison fares or to double check travel agency rates.  We do not recommend search engines for comparison quotes (like Kayak):

Tracking Air Flights  - Track a flight by flight number or route to check on time status.

Airline Seats - check any aircraft seat map to view exit rows, wing location, restroom location, etc.

SeatGuru - http://www.seatguru.com/

Airport Shuttle:

SuperShuttle - http://www.supershuttle.com/  Services most major airports in the US with either shared service or private shuttle.  Confirm rates, make a reservation and prepay.

Taxi Fares:

TaxiFareFinder.com - http://www.taxifarefinder.com/ Taxi fare estimator:  Look up fares for almost any address or airport in the US to your destination

Hotel searches:

Hotels.com - http://www.hotels.com/  a favorite search option because you can search on an exact street address for a conference hotel, conference center or training site.

Kayak.com https://www.kayak.com/  and
Trivago.com  http://www.trivago.com/ - these are search engines good for searching for rates in a city and for some landmarks.

Hotel Alternatives - Be sure you can get a valid receipt if you require reimbursement:

Car Rentals  If a vehicle is required for your travel, be sure to consider State of Oregon contract rates with Hertz, National and Enterprise if your rental is for business only and you are not traveling with family or friends. Remember that your travel agent can also book car rentals and has the state contract discount codes. If you cannot rent using the contract:

               TravelMath - http://www.travelmath.com/nearest-airport/  helpful site to determine which airport is closest to your business destination for both domestic and international travel.
