India Visa Processing Delays

Effective July 1st, BLS International became the sole processor of India visas in the United States, replacing long-time processor Travisa Outsourcing.  Previously, third party visa services were allowed to submit an unlimited number of visa requests daily.  However, BLS International is accepting only 15 applications per day from each visa and passport service.

Travelers requesting a visa for travel to India should expect extended processing times for the foreseeable future.  U.S. passport holders should anticipate at least 10 days and non-U.S. passport holders should anticipate processing times of up to 20 days for an Indian visa.  The aforementioned time-frames are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.
