Good Morning Travel Coordinators -
San Francisco Travel Alert:  Runway Closure At SFO This Weekend -  Delays Possible

The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) says runway 28L will temporarily close from 10:00 p.m. PT Friday, February 15th through 8:00 a.m. PT Monday, February 18th.  The closure will allow for federally-mandated construction activity on Runway Safety Areas.  During this time the arrival rate for aircraft at SFO could be reduced from 60 per hour to 30 per hour, resulting in arrival and departure delays.

Travelers are advised to check flight status prior to departing for the airport and visit SFO's website<http://www.flysfo.com/web/page/index.jsp> for up-to-date airport conditions.
