I am attaching a draft letter to the President and Provost for discussion during the Senate Budget Committee portion of the Senate Executive Committee meeting tomorrow. The letter includes requests to engage in financial contingency planning and discussion
 of program evaluation metrics with a mid-year metrics-based report on unit well-being. I would appreciate feedback on emphasis and language in the letter, as well as ideas for implementation of the two requests.</div>
