of the position that Ellen Herman held (her term is now up) plus responsibilities for overseeing career faculty as well. The position description reads:</div>

position falls under Section VI of the policy, and this search is compliant with the policy to this point. There is good faculty representation on the committee, including the current and former FPC chairs, two faculty members of the Academic Council, and
a representative from UAUO. </div>
