<p class="MsoNormal">I’m reaching out to you in this moment in time that I believe calls for strong leadership from the university senate. Incoming senate president Elliot Berkman and I have prepared this senate resolution against racism and systemic oppression
(attached). The document has been crafted in consultation with numerous individuals from a variety of constituent groups on campus. We ask for your feedback and further invite you to consider co-sponsoring the motion to be introduced in our final senate
meeting of the year. We hope to distribute the motion to the full senate Monday AM (6/8).<o:p></o:p></p>
