Subject: Seeking approval for new FPC appointment
Dear Senate Executive Committee members,

As required by Senate Bylaws, I write again to seek approval for a replacement appointment to the Faculty Personnel Committee. For reasons of health, Claire Wachter from the School of Music and Dance has resigned from the FPC this week. Dean Sabrina Madison-Cannon of SOMD has identified a faculty member willing to serve in Clair’s place:

Given the imminence of the major portion of the workload of the FPC, I would like to have a vote on this candidate as quickly as possible. As such, I am again asking for a vote by return mail. Please reply to me ASAP with a single-word answer, either YES or NO.

If you have any objection to voting by mail, reply to the entire group and we can postpone consideration of the candidate until our meeting March 2.
