[Uosenateexec] Core Education White Paper

Good morning, Senators and members of the Senate Exec,

I’m pleased to send along the attached white paper describing the state of core education at the University of Oregon. As you can see, we’ve come a long way over the last few years due to the hard work of many who have served on the Core Education Council and the Core Education Task Force. The document is an excellent summary of the outstanding work that your groups have done in the last few years, and makes clear the trajectory of core education at the University from the past to the present and into the future.

I want to express my deep gratitude for the work of these groups and how well they have set us up to be successful in the future.
