Greetings Senate Executive Committee Members,
It's been a few months since our last discussion about search guidelines for academic administrators. We've made good progress on this effort and we'll spend time in Wednesday's meeting reviewing the draft policy in preparation for next week's senate meeting.
We're continuing to work with the administration to finalize the policy, and we're very, very close. Ell and I meet again on Friday with the Provost and President on this effort as well.
For greater clarity in our discussions, I'm attaching a copy of the search guidelines here that shows tracked edits as of today. Thanks for taking time to review these and come ready to our zoom SEC mtg for discussion.

We are scheduled to meet from 3:00 - 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 1, 2020....via Zoom (link can be found just above the agenda below).
I apologize for getting this out to you so late. We have been working to figure out how to conduct meetings by Zoom, and I will be sending you a short list of instructions on that separately tomorrow.
FYI... I will be starting the meeting a little early so folks can test their connections, audio, video, etc.
Another FYI, I'll be quizzing you all shortly about your availability for an additional Senate Exec meeting for April 29th to discuss the annual UO Senate Award for Shared Governance, Transparency, and Trust. These discussions take place in Executive Session (meaning no outside members are allowed).
