[Uosenateexec] Women in Oregon -- what is our academic responsibility?

Dear Senate Executive Committee Colleagues,
A new report indicates Oregon's rates of sexual & domestic violence are particularly high when compared to other states.

The OPB story notes about the report:
Researchers used data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to reach some startling conclusions. Among them: Just over half of the state's female population has been the victim of sexual or domestic violence.
