<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Book Antiqua",serif;color:#1F497D">The Rehearsals for Life’s performance ignited my imagination!! In sharing how wonderful Rehearsals for Life’s performance was with BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ folx in
the committees I served on, we were inspired and saw opportunity how we too could present snippets of our own stories/experiences in a meaningful way to bring critical awareness and spark “courageous” conversations around structural racism and gender inequality
experiences vis-à-vis societal inequalities and inequities. I’ve known a few graduate students who’ve been part of Rehearsals for Life who valued being part of the program for the social consciousness these performances bring to the community.

The Senate Antiracism Academy is hosting an interactive event with <a href="https://dos.uoregon.edu/rfl" target="_blank">Rehearsals for Life</a> and each of you is invited to attend. In case you’re not familiar, Rehearsals for Life is a joint project between
the Grad School and the Office of the Dean of Students that teaches attendees to step in and diffuse tricky situations. A key component of the training is that audience members also have an opportunity to practice their new skills.<br>
