I want to make sure you and your constituents are all aware of these upcoming opportunities to provide input on the tuition and fees conversation. The Tuition and Fee Advisory Board has now made their <a href="https://tuition.uoregon.edu/sites/tuition2.uoregon.edu/files/2021-02/recommendations-of-the-fy21-tuition-and-fee-advisory-board.pdf" target="_blank">proposal</a> to the president, who will consider the proposal before making a recommendation to the Board of Trustees, who will vote on the proposal. Here are some ways to provide input to the President (before Feb 22) and then the Board (after Feb 22).</div>

<li>The president will hold a virtual forum this Thursday, Feb 18, at 6pm. You can register to attend <a href="https://oregon.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6otbC6pmkMiX8zA" target="_blank">here</a>.</li>

<li>Anyone interested in providing written comment to the president about his recommendation to the Board of Trustees can do so via <a href="https://oregon.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_57692ZDsx6lAZWR" target="_blank">this form</a> by 5pm on Monday, Feb 22.</li>

<li><span style="color:var(--textColor);background-color:var(--backgroundColor)">The Board of Trustees will have a written comment option for its next meeting. All messages received by 5pm on Sunday, March 7, will be shared with the board ahead of the meeting. Send those to trustees@uoregon.edu.</span></li>

<li>The Board will also have a virtual public comment section about FY22 tuition and fees at the meeting on March 8. Details about sign-ups are usually announced about a week before the session, though priority is given to students and prospective students.</li>

<div dir="auto">Of course, the Senate itself can also provide our assessment to the Board. We will be discussing a motion on this issue at Wednesday’s <a href="https://senate.uoregon.edu/committees/senate-executive-committee/meetings" target="_blank">Senate Executive meeting</a> - around 3:45pm - ahead of the full Senate meeting next week. I look forward to discussing this with you then.</div>
