Thanks Kevin, does this mean that if TFAB and the HECC approve this new $90 ticket fee, they would be restricting how much tuition could be increased before the total hits the 5% increase that triggers HECC review? In other words, there’s a tradeoff between

As a member of TFAB, I wanted to clarify how the tuition and mandatory fee governance works. TFAB provides an analysis of and summary of proposed Tuition and mandatory fees including changes to President Schill. President Schill determines what he would like
to propose utilizing our work. His proposals are made available to students and other interested parties and he hosts a forum on the changes.<o:p class=""></o:p></div>

My understanding is the incidental fee which is set by the ASUO and is not part of the TFAB process is presented by ASUO to the UO Board of Trustees for approval. No automatic review of the fee is required by the HECC regardless of the size. If the UO Board
of Trustees does not approve of ASUO’s proposal then the ASUO can appeal to the HECC.<o:p class=""></o:p></div>
