[Uosenate] Call to Action - please help recruit tenured faculty for Senate Service

On behalf of Senate leadership…

Dear Senators,

We are asking for your help in recruiting faculty, specifically tenured and TTF faculty (we have need for both for several open seats during the Spring 2024 election cycle), for UO Senate and university committee service.

Please read and share the attached letter from Senate President Gerard Sandoval with your colleagues, as widely as possible.

The UO Senate and Committee Service survey is currently open and closes Friday, March 1, 2024.

Your service is greatly valued and we need your help in recruiting the next cohort of collaborators in our mission of shared governance.

We have found that word of mouth and personal recommendations are by far our most successful recruitment strategies. Help us get the word out.
