[Uosenate] University Senate Mtg - November 15, 2023 - Updated motion

Dear Gerard,

A group of senators was interested in attending the newly posted meeting of the AC next week, but we are very puzzled by the apparent contradiction in dates between the posted time on the senate page (Nov 27th) and the agenda which is now backdated...  to earlier today...! This also happens to be the first listed agenda in two years and the two earlier this year have only now been posted without either agendas or minutes.

it is very unfortunate this is happening in the midst of our discussion about their lack of transparency.

Dear Senators,



I’m writing to remind of our meeting scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 3:00 – 4:00 P.M. via Zoom (you can find the link below).



Additionally, we wanted to circulate the raw data received from the survey recently conducted to gain additional Senator feedback on the Academic Council Recommendations for Academic Continuity document recently discussed at both Senate Exec and Senate mtgs, along with a memo from Senate President Gerard Sandoval analyzing the feedback and distilling it into the major themes or trends contained within the feedback/responses.

Both the memo and the raw data are attached here. We invite everyone to take a look at these documents in advance of tomorrow’s meeting.
