[Uosenate] Public input requested: Revision of licensing, patent, copyright policy

Greetings, Senators,

I hope your finals week is off to a good start.

I’m writing to draw your attention to the public comment period for a policy revision that is working its way through the process. This is an old Internal Management Directive (IMD-6) that we inherited from OUS on a range of topics including licensing, patents, and copyright. Most of the changes involve updating the language to reflect the current structure of the UO (e.g., changing “Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration" -> VPRI etc) but there are a few substantive changes.
